Pixel Art Resizer — Keep Pixel Edges Sharp
Enlarge pixel art with whole-number nearest-neighbor scaling. Keep hard edges and download a PNG without smoothing.
Enlarge without smoothing
Choose a still image and a whole-number multiplier. Each original pixel becomes a block of pixels of the same color. Nearest-neighbor scaling avoids blended edges that can make sprites and icons look fuzzy.
Why whole-number scales matter
A 32 × 32 sprite becomes 128 × 128 at 4×. Every source pixel occupies an equal 4 × 4 block. Fractional scales can give different source pixels unequal widths, changing the rhythm of a pixel drawing.
Use PNG for the result
PNG avoids adding JPEG artifacts around the hard edges. This tool cannot remove blur already baked into the source. Use the original pixel artwork when possible; animated files need an animation-aware workflow.
